Accommodation
Volunteers will be accommodated at Umkwali Tented Bush Camp. Each tent can sleep 2 volunteers and each tent has
its own bathroom. There are 2 beds with mattresses and a table in all tents. The camp can sleep a max of 10 people.
Meals
Three meals are included in the rate. All meals are had in the central dinning area of the camp.
Duration
We encourage a 4 week (or longer) stay to gain the most from the experience. It takes a while to become familiar
with the reserve and work. The minimum stay is 2 weeks.
Start date
Volunteers should plan to arrive on a Friday and end on a Friday.
Transfers
Transfers to and from Umkwali camp can be arranged on request. Private transfers from Johannesburg or bus trips
are the most popular. Quotes will be done on request.
Costs
R3800 per week.
